Seller Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Shop24 Seller Program. These Seller Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your access to and use of the Shop24 platform as a merchant/vendor. By registering as a seller, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before opening your store.
1. Merchant Account Registration
To list and sell products on Shop24, you must complete the registration form providing accurate, current, and complete details, including:
- Your legal name and contact details.
- A unique, non-offensive Store Name representing your brand.
- Valid Nigerian bank account details (Bank Name, NUBAN Account Number, and matching Account Name) for processing your payouts.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your store account.
2. Product Listings & Selling Policies
As a registered vendor, you agree that:
- You will only list authentic, legally owned products. Counterfeit, replica, or prohibited goods are strictly banned.
- Product descriptions, prices, stock levels, and images must be accurate and honest.
- You are solely responsible for setting your product prices, which must be clearly stated in Nigerian Naira (₦).
- Shop24 reserves the right to remove any product listing that violates platform standards or policies without prior notice.
3. Order Fulfillment & Delivery
Sellers are expected to maintain high service levels:
- Orders must be acknowledged and packaged for shipment within 24 to 48 hours of purchase.
- You must package items securely to prevent damage during transit. Customers have the right to return damaged goods.
- Failure to ship orders within the designated processing time may result in order cancellation and a negative merchant rating.
4. Earnings, Commission & Bank Payouts
Our payment and withdrawal system operates under the following rules:
- Commission Fees: Shop24 charges a standard platform commission fee on successfully completed and paid orders. This fee is automatically deducted before earnings are added to your balance.
- Pending Balance: Your earnings are credited to your pending balance once the customer's payment is captured and cleared.
- Payout Requests: You may request a payout of your cleared pending balance at any time through the Vendor Portal, provided you have no other pending payout requests.
- Processing Time: Payout requests are sent to the platform administrator for review. Once marked as paid, funds are transferred to your registered Nigerian bank account within 1-2 business days.
- Inaccurate Details: Shop24 is not liable for payout failures or losses resulting from incorrect bank account details provided during registration.
5. Customer Disputes, Returns & Refunds
To ensure customer trust on Shop24:
- Sellers must honor a standard return policy for defective, wrong, or damaged items.
- If a refund is authorized due to vendor error (e.g. wrong item shipped), the transaction amount will be deducted from your merchant balance.
- Unresolved disputes or high refund rates may lead to temporary or permanent store suspension.
6. Termination of Seller Account
Shop24 reserves the right to suspend or terminate your merchant account at its discretion for reasons including, but not limited to, fraudulent activity, sale of counterfeit items, persistent negative customer reviews, or violation of these Terms.
